Labor Day R & R

Had a bit busy but fun-filled labor day. We had family friends come over for three-days during the last weekend. Was looking forward to their visit but was a bit nervous also about managing every thing with two little kids around. However,the friends' visit turned out to be very enjoyable and relaxing. They made themselves at home and helped out with the kids who were both excited to see them. Since the husband travels a lot on the job, he said that he would rather spend time at home rather than going around sight seeing. So we didn't have to go around the city looking for parking spots or dealing with the traffic.

For most part, my friend and I spent time at home chatting up and catching up on things, while the guys took care of the kids most of the time. How the days flew by, we didn't realize. It was a nice and restful break from the hectic schedule - thank god for the friends and long holiday weekends!
