CNBC.com's 2008 Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge

Registration is now open for CNBC's second Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge. Grand prize is $1 million, plus there are 10 weekly prizes. Registration is free.

The new thing about this year's challenge is that you can create five separate portfolios with $1,000,000 CNBC Bucks. In addition, you are also allowed to trade currencies in addition to stocks.

There are also 10 weekly prizes including:

- Nine holes of golf with Annika and a package at her academy
- A seat at the 2009 World Series of Poker
- A trip to Royal Plantation in Jamaica, flying privately on Blue Star Jets
- Two tickets to Super Bowl XLIII
