- Innovation Nation: How America Is Losing Its Innovation Edge, Why It Matters, and What We Can Do to Get It Back - written by John Kao, a consultant, this book asserts that America has almost lost its competitive advantage, with new startups being launched aggresively in Europe and Asia. The book also presents the author's view on how America can stop this decay and regain its competitive advantage
I am surprised that not only have I not even read any of the above books but except for a couple of books, such as those written by Greenspan and on the Mondavi family, I had never heard of most of these books before I read this article. One book I am now interested in reading is the book on Chuck Feeney - The Billionaire Who Wasnt: How Chuck Feeney Made and Gave Away a Fortune Without Anyone Knowing. This book sounds pretty inspirational and motivational - a shot of which I need on a regular basis to keep up with the demands of the life, while keeping my spirits up.
